Sober from alcohol and other drugs since March 6, 2009, Kelvin weaves lived experience with professional training to inspire healing, resilience, and personal growth.
Kelvin offers sound healing as an optional immersive add-on to complement therapeutic work, supporting integration and whole-person restoration.

About Kelvin
Kelvin’s journey with sound healing began during incarceration, inspiring a lifelong commitment to calming the mind and regulating the nervous system through sound. He is trained in holistic stress management, recovery coaching, and peer support, holding a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) certification along with training in IPS, eCPR, and Black Mental Health and Healing Justice Peer Support. His work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and trauma-sensitive care.
Through an integrative, healing-centered approach, Kelvin supports recovery from addiction and mental health challenges by fostering connection, self-awareness, and holistic wellbeing. He has shared his lived expertise nationally and internationally and facilitates healing sessions across treatment centers, hospitals, prisons, and community settings. Recognized for his contributions to integrative recovery and advocacy, he was inducted into the Museum of African American Addictions, Treatment, and Recovery Hall of Fame in 2025.
As co-founder of Toivo, co-author of Find Your Voice, Save Your Life 4: Transcendent Men, Real Stories, and featured voice in Uprooting Addiction, Kelvin remains dedicated to creating spaces for deep healing.
